Unlike most retailers that make these Wayuu bags and other accessories available for sale to you online, Wayuu Origins was established because of our passion to bring awareness and help to these wonderful but underpriveledged indigenous people. When we created our mission, our first objective was to generate funds to give back to the Wayuu tribes in the form of relational support including personal visits, and living provisions such as food, water and medical supplies. Our plan to accomplish this mission includes setting aside 20% of all of our net profits generated from the sale the the Wayuu products we offer for sale on this website and through our organization, for providing this support and these provisions directly to the Wayuu tribe.
